Customer app privacy policy

This policy covers the Ammo Pro Detailing customer app, built and hosted by AutoBook. When you use the app you are a customer of that detailer. The detailer named in the app decides what happens with your data (the “data controller”). AutoBook (Motion Media Digital, Netherlands) hosts the app and processes the data on the detailer’s behalf. 1. What the app collects

• Contact details. Your name, mobile number and, if you add it, email address and the address where your car is kept.
• Your cars. Make, model, colour, year, registration and any photos you upload of them.
• Bookings and jobs. The services you book, dates and times, notes you add, prices, quotes, invoices and the before/after photos the detailer takes of your car.
• Login codes. A one-time 6-digit code sent to your phone or email when you log in. The code expires after 10 minutes and is stored only as a hash. There are no passwords.
• Notification token. If you allow notifications, the token Apple gives your phone, so the app can send them to you. It is removed when you log out or delete your account.
• Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, time, app version) kept for security and debugging. The app contains no advertising or analytics trackers.

2. What it is used for

• Logging you in and showing you your own cars, bookings and history.
• Letting the detailer schedule, carry out, invoice and follow up your jobs.
• Sending you booking confirmations, reminders and receipts by SMS or email on the detailer’s behalf.
• Notifications from the detailer, if you allow them: booking updates, photos of your car, coating reminders and an occasional offer. Turn them off any time under Profile or in your phone’s settings.
• Keeping the detailer’s business records (invoices) as the law requires.

The legal basis is the contract between you and the detailer (the work you book) and the detailer’s legitimate interest in running their business. Your data is never sold and never shared with advertisers; the only messages you get come from the detailer you booked with.

3. Who can see it

• The detailer and any staff they have added to their AutoBook account.
• AutoBook, as the processor hosting the service. Data is stored with Supabase in the European Union.
• Delivery providers used only to send messages: Twilio (SMS) and Resend or Google Workspace (email). They receive your number or email address and the message, nothing else.
• Stripe, only if the detailer takes deposits or card payments. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch the app or AutoBook.

4. How long it is kept

While you are a customer of the detailer, plus as long as the detailer must keep invoices under tax law (typically 6 to 7 years). Login codes are deleted after 10 minutes. Car photos are kept with the record until you or the detailer remove them.

5. Deleting your app account

Open the app, go to Profile and tap Delete my account. If the detailer has not yet done any work for you, this deletes your account and everything in it straight away: your details, your cars and photos, and any pending booking. If the detailer has completed or invoiced work for you, your app account is deleted (logged out everywhere, login codes cancelled) and your customer record stays with the detailer as described below.

Your customer record with the detailer (name, contact details, cars, photos, bookings and invoices) is the detailer’s own business record and stays in their AutoBook account, in the same way a garage keeps your job history on file. If you later log in again with the same phone number or email, you are reconnected to that history. To have the detailer erase the record itself, ask the detailer or email info@autobook.pro; invoice amounts may be kept where tax law requires it, with your personal details removed.

6. Your rights

Under the UK and EU GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and complain to your data-protection authority (the ICO in the UK, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands). Contact the detailer or info@autobook.pro and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

The apps are for booking car-detailing work and are not directed at anyone under 16.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date above is updated and the app shows the new version. The AutoBook platform’s own privacy policy is at autobook.pro/privacy.
